Level I

This level of programming will be “truly virtual” and include weekly:

  • Pre-recorded storytime or art activity that you can enjoy at your leisure.
  • Small group Zoom/Google classroom activity to allow your child a virtual classroom experience with a small group of peers.
  • Lesson plan packet with activities to support your child’s fine/large gross motor skills, sensory exploration, and pre-academic skills.

Parent Participation:

To allow for flexibility, the Parent Participation requirement of this program will be to create an online video or host a Zoom event to enhance the virtual program and keep virtual students connected to one another. Some examples may include:

  • A “show & tell” or performance (dance, puppet show) video to share with other students in the program.
  • Hosting a zoom activity, such as a dance party or art activity.
  • Coordinating “pen pals” to send virtual students letters and art.
  • Once per month Parent Education Via Zoom – this will be an opportunity to connect with other parents whose students are in a virtual program and to engage in discussions about your child’s development, ask questions, and get the support you need.
